Learn curricula through film making, theater and media
You can bring Imagine Me's devised film and media project exploration
into the classroom!

As an example of this process, let’s take a third grade teacher conducting a lesson plan on poetry from around the world. Under the guidance of Imagine Me and their classroom teacher, students would be divided into groups and assigned a particular poem and country to explore.
From this point on the group can decide how they want to present the material, their findings, through a cinematic medium. Imagine Me professionals channel the students ideas through the pre-production stage, such as brainstorming, scripting and story-boarding.
During the process, children are assigned individual tasks to contribute to the group’s piece. These tasks might be directly related to the subject matter, such as researching the poem’s country, or abstractly related, such as proof reading the script. The class then works together to shoot and edit each group piece.
The culmination of the project can be a private screening for the class, or a school-wide public screening to which parents are invited. And as always, Imagine Me provides hard copies such as DVDs or CDs of the classwork for children to take home!
