Imagination Studios- Young children (Kindergarten thru 2nd grade) discover the history of movie magic by studying and recreating the styles of Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Bugsby Berkeley and more! Special club sessions will also include learning some real behind-the-scenes tricks of the trade, exploring dry ice and special effects make-up. 
I Make iMovies- Working in pairs, kids become directors, writers, cinematographers and editors of their very own 5 minute movie! This club is the most skill-based learning experience for elementary and middle school students, teaching camera technique, editing and pre-production.
Movie Magic- Working with scripts inspired by stories from around the world, this literacy- and performance-based club focuses on exploring global story themes, acting on camera, and of course, some of the secrets of film magic!

Spoof! - Students make a 5 to 20 minute spoof of a current book, TV show or movie, or of a classic genre. becoming a scorned lover in “Bloody Shakespeare” Media

Reel Science- This exciting club explores the science of how special effects are achieved in films.  Through hands-on lab activities and screening film classics from "The Blob" to "Harry Potter," students delve into topics such as optics, sound and light waves, biology, neuroscience, hydraulics, physical science, natural science and chemistry.  Questions explored include "How does an infrared camera work?" and "Why is dry ice used to create fog?" NOTE: This curriculum was created to meet the NYS standards for Elementary Science grades K-4, including: Analysis, Inquiry, Design, the physical setting and the living environment.
Stop Motion Animation- With a cast of stuffed animals, desk objects, shoes or toothbrushes, students create featurettes of “A day in the life of a ....”, learning the art of stop motion animation along the way! 
Claymation & Stop Action- Children learn the basics and technology behind clay animation, one of the many forms of stop motion animation, and a similar art form: Stop Action photography. Using iMovie and iStop, children compile images into video feaurettes.
Trick or Treat: On camera Special Effects & Trick Photography are the focus of this media-fusion-film club. Students learn Hollywood blockbuster effects, and create a short film to feature their SFX.
Quiet on the Set! – Kids explore Sounds Effects & Foley through hands-on activities, and “score” a movie with the skills they’ve learned! (Also available as One Day workshop) Dance

Stretch Your Imagination- A movement based theater class where K-2 and 3-6 can create theatrical pieces through movement. Going beyond dance class, this club emphasizes using the body to communicate storytelling through a physical world.
Dance Dance Revolution- Children get moving and grooving, learning and exploring the basics of modern & jazz dance. Working together as a group, the children choreograph an ensemble dance piece focusing on “one thing they would change if they could”, a revolution through dance. Emphasis on dance basics, collaboration and story telling.

Theater

Bloody Shakespeare- Why explore only the Fairies, when there are Macbeth’s witches, hunchbacks, magical spells, chase scenes, duels, bear-baiting and shipwrecks? This unique approach to exploring the exciting canon of William Shakespeare aims to uncover fascinating stories through creative hands-on projects, character and scene study and culminates in a “Shakespeare’s Abridged” performance of one of the Bard’s best tragedies. 
Theatrical Combat- Learn the basic skills of theatrical combat for the stage. This multidisciplinary art is explored through physical exercises, individual and partnered, that develop flexibility, concentration, coordination, and confidence. Students integrate their skills into a scene for final performance.
Improv- Comedy and character building come to life with learning simple fun theater games, and advancing on to more complex group and ensemble sketch comedy work. Improv is based on the idea of supporting each other, creating and exploring ideas together, learning to be funny while having fun. Improv doesn't only benefit young performers; it helps all young people gain confidence, strengthen self-image and creativity and working in a social dynamic.
